Soothing Herbal Syrup

Soothing Herbal Syrup

Here’s our take on those fancy syrups you’d find in a store, but with a grounding herbal twist. This syrup brings together blue lotus flowers, skullcap, and lavender for a soothing addition to your coffee, tea, or mocktails.

An Herbal Breakdown:

  • Blue Lotus Flower: Known for its gentle euphoria and ability to promote relaxation, blue lotus is a beautiful flower to elevate your mood and ground you into your body.

  • Skullcap: A powerful ally for the nervous system, skullcap helps ease stress and encourages a sense of calm.

  • Lavender: Beloved for its aroma and soothing qualities, lavender supports relaxation and emotional well-being.

Here’s what you’ll need to create this at home:

  • 🌀 1/4 cup lavender

    • Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes to create a potent herbal tea

  2. Strain the Tea

    • Strain the herbs from the tea using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Return the tea to the pot.

  3. Sweeten the Syrup

    • Add 2 cups of brown sugar to the herbal tea.
